Toastmasters Speech Contests 18-19
On 1st December, the Toastmaster Speech and Table Topics Contests were held in Ying Wa. The contests are held every year which allow student participants to demonstrate their communication and leadership skills. There were 35 contestants from Secondary 2 to 4 with 8 student workers and 4 judges from Toastmasters International. The contests provided a platform for students to shine and share their wonderful speeches with the audience.
The contests were divided into two sessions: Prepared Speech and Table Topics. Due to the large number of participants, both sessions were divided into two rounds. 18 students took part in the Prepared Speech Contest while 17 students participated in the Table Topics Contest.
