Volleyball Team Korea Training Tour 2026

Last summer, 32 players from our Volleyball Team embarked on an unforgettable training tour to Korea.  Though a sudden typhoon initially disrupted our schedule, the team’s spirit remained unbroken, turning an unexpected obstacle into a lesson in resilience from day one.

In Korea, our students trained in professional facilities under local coaches.  Stepping onto an unfamiliar court presented an initial challenge as the team struggled with spatial awareness and timing.  However, the coaches’ patient, step-by-step guidance helped our players adjust, contrasting with Hong Kong’s faster pace and allowing them to focus on vital technical details.  Off the court, bonding over a comforting bowl of traditional ginseng chicken soup provided the ultimate reward after a grueling day of sweat and hard work.

The highlight of the tour was the friendly matches against local teams.   Our players were profoundly inspired by the Korean team's"never-give-up" attitude and their electrifying, unified cheers on the court. It taught our team that there are no individuals—only "us". 

This unity was fully displayed in the thrilling final game.   Even when dropping crucial points, the entire squad cheered passionately from the sidelines.   Through unremitting effort and sheer perseverance, they overcame the low points of the match to secure a spectacular victory!
