Li Ka Shing Foundation established the Mrs Li Chong Yuet Ming Student Development Fund for Ying Wa

Ying Wa would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the support of the Li Ka Shing Foundation (LKSF) for their donation of HKD 10 million to our school’s Mrs Li Chong Yuet Ming Student Development Fund.  The endowment fund provides valuable opportunities for our girls to become global citizens through foreign exchanges and to strengthen their commitment to the community through local social services.  Mrs Li Chong Yuet Ming, both our alumna and the late mother of LKSF Director Mr Richard Li, was an active participant in various extra-curricular activities in her secondary school days such as serving as peer tutor for the poor in the community.  During Mr Richard Li’s sharing with us on November 28, he mentioned, “the Foundation has the opportunity to support a student development endowment fund at my mother’s alma mater in her honour.”  Our girls are grateful for the various chances to develop their leadership skills and to broaden their horizons on global issues.
