Thanksgiving Week of 2021-2022
November is a time of giving thanks. In Ying Wa, the Student Association organised a series of events for Thanksgiving Week, named Redamancy for its meaning of love in return. The events ranged from Thanksnapping, Teachers’ Day, Thank You Card Sale to the treasured tradition of Sponsored Walk.

Sponsored Walk and Thanksgiving Service (2021)
The Thanksgiving Service and the Sponsored Walk were conducted successfully in the last week of November. We would especially like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Reverend Hung Man Kit of the C & M Alliance Wah Kee Church (基督教宣道會華基堂熊文傑牧師) to share his thoughts on the theme of “Ying Wa Girls with a Thankful Heart (齊來做過懂得感恩的英華人)”. Reverend Hung shared his journey of serving in Africa and his admiration towards YW’s former principals such as Miss Helen Davies and Mrs Ruth Lee for their generosity and spirits to serve in the YW family. He encouraged students to be thankful for all the people and everything around them, and learn how to enjoy every precious moment and serve others in life.
