Farewell Assembly 2023

A farewell assembly was held on February 24, the last school day for the graduating classes.  The assembly this year was especially meaningful to the YW family because it was the first one to be held since the onset of the pandemic. The S6 students melted our hearts with their words of gratitude for teachers, schoolmates and all members of Ying Wa.  Our Principal, Mr Francis Kwan, shared his well-wishes and advice for the graduating classes.  Singing the hymn “Pass it on”, the S6 girls passed a candle flame from one student to another, which symbolizes the continuation of the school’s heritage.  Whilst the candles were being lit, the whole school sent our best wishes to the graduating classes by singing a farewell song “I know who holds the future” to encourage them to have faith in Jesus at all times.
