Founder’s Day Service 2022

We were delighted to have invited Dr Suen To Ki Dacita (孫杜琪醫生) as our guest speaker at the annual Founder's Day Service.  A former student of Ying Wa, Dr Suen is now a Consultant Breast Surgeon in the Hospital Authority and an Honorary Manager of the Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) of our school.  Dr Suen talked about different ways to overcome negative emotions.  She also encouraged us to read the book Every Scar on the Body (translated from the book name in Chinese 《身上的每道傷疤》), written by professional track cyclist Ms Li Wai Sze (李慧詩).  The book reveals the hardships and difficulties behind the success of the Olympic medallist.  In the end, Dr Suen shared with us the Bible verse from Romans 8:28, “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans,” to encourage all of us to stay with God and follow His directions and guidance.
