Hotel Industry Workshop
On June 20, a group of 28 S4 students from the History, Tourism and Hospitality Studies (THS) Departments, along with 2 student leaders from the Civic Education Committee, participated in a workshop at Hotel Alexandra. The objective of the workshop was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the hotel industry, its history, and its significance in the context of national security education, with a focus on economic security.
Throughout the workshop, students engaged in experiential learning, starting with a lecture followed by an interactive hotel tour. Additionally, they had the opportunity to learn about table manners and put their newly acquired knowledge into practice during lunch. This hands-on learning experience enabled students to gain insights into their future career choices.
