S2E Visit to the HKMMS

With the coordination of Ms Ng, the Chinese History teacher and class teacher of 2E, a visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences (HKMMS) was arranged, presenting a valuable learning opportunity for the students.  During the visit, students had the chance to explore the hygiene conditions of late 19th century Hong Kong and discover methods to enhance the well-being of the Chinese population in the city.  Through interactive exhibits and informative displays, students acquired a deeper comprehension of the vital role of public health initiatives and the influence of historical context on contemporary healthcare practices.  This insightful experience enabled students to appreciate the importance of preventive measures and their profound impact on the overall welfare of the community.
