Talk by Wong Kwan Nga in S5 CSD

The Citizenship & Social Development (CSD) Department invited alumna Ms Wong Kwan Nga (Graduate of 2021) to share her personal life, experiences, traditions, and customs in Chongqing and Shenzhen with classes 5B, 5D, and 5E in mid-October 2023.  She shared stories of her hometown Chongqing, painting a vivid picture of its vibrant culture, rich history, and warm community connections.  She then delved into her life in Shenzhen, highlighting the city’s fast-paced lifestyle, cuisines, fashion culture, and accommodation.  Food delivery and online shopping platforms have surged in popularity in the Mainland, becoming integral to people’s daily lives due to convenience, variety, competitive prices, and efficiency.  With her relatable anecdotes and valuable insights, students were encouraged to explore different cities in our motherland to foster their sense of national identity, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
