Visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences
The History Department organized a visit to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences, providing a valuable learning opportunity for all S5 History students. During the visit, students explored the hygiene situation in late 19th century Hong Kong and discovered ways to improve the health conditions of Chinese people in the city. Through interactive exhibits and informative displays, students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of public health initiatives and the role of historical context in shaping healthcare practices today. This insightful experience allowed students to recognize the significance of preventive measures and their impact on community well-being.
