Visit to T · Park

On September 29, 2023, the Geography Department organized a trip for a group of twenty-three S3 students to T · Park in Tuen Mun, where they explored cutting-edge waste-to-energy technology and informative sludge treatment processes.  One notable process involved converting sludge into ash and residues, reducing its volume by an impressive 90%.  This approach not only minimizes landfill waste but also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  The students were inspired by the advanced recycling technologies and waste management practices they witnessed, highlighting the importance of sustainable development. This eye-opening experience broadened their horizons and deepened their understanding of their role in building a more environmentally friendly future.
