Wellness Week & Sharing at the EDB

“Wellness Week”, held from February 20 to 24, 2023, was organized by the Guidance Committee in order to prioritize students’ mental health, foster positive emotions and thinking, and train student leaders to deliver constructive messages.  The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 8 voluntary assistants from the Guidance Committee, alongside the Head and Deputy Head Prefects.  Throughout the week dedicated to wellness, student leaders organised engaging activities such as talks, interactive games and other expressive mediums to encourage mindfulness, to facilitate open expression of feelings and to promote empathy towards others.  The event proved to be immensely successful, resulting in a deeper understanding of mental health among the participants.  Students also demonstrated a newfound willingness to express their own inner emotions and displayed increased care and concern for others’ well-being.

On June 23, the Guidance Committee participated in a highly impactful sharing session organised by the Education Bureau (EDB) as part of the “Wellness Week” programme.  This collaborative initiative was developed in partnership with the EDB’s Student Guidance and Discipline Services, under the broader framework of the Pupil Ambassador 2022-2023 Programme.
