Fundraising Movie Gala
As our highlight in the coming school year, the school would like to celebrate and look back on a memorable period in our history through the Fundraising Movie Gala - ‘To My 19-year-old Self’.
Helmed by our distinguished alumni and internationally acclaimed director Ms. CHEUNG Yuen Ting Mabel, the film chronicles the growth of a unique group of Ying Wa students through their journey in secondary school – from their time in the old Robinson Road Campus to the decanting school in Sham Shui Po. The film is an up-close and honest account of the coming of age of these youngsters who all have their own fascinating stories to tell.
The film premiere is scheduled to be held at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, on 1 December 2021. We hereby kindly extend an invitation to you to join us on for this premiere and we would also pledge your kind support and generous donations towards our fundraising drive.

Kick-off Ceremony of the Movie Gala
A Kick-off Ceremony opened the curtain for our fundraising Movie Gala – ‘To My 19-year-old Self”. The ceremony was held on July 10, 2021 at the Mrs So Chau Yim Ping Memorial Hall of our Breezy Path Campus, aiming at introducing the upcoming movie “To My 19-year-old Self” and raising funds for student development. It is our hope that students can stretch their potential and explore various opportunities available in the 21st century. Ms Dorothy Wong, Chairlady of the Fundraising Committee, and our Principal, Mr Francis Kwan, shared the visions of the fundraising project and the latest development of the school. Awards of the Dance Team
The Ying Wa Dance Team participated in the Dance World Cup Asian Cup 2020 & 2021, the 57th Schools Dance Festival, the 48th Open Dance Contest and the 56th Schools Dance Festival. Due to the pandemic, all organising parties exercised very careful precautionary measures to minimize the risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19. For instance, every competitor had to undergo a compulsory COVID-19 nucleic acid test in advance.
Accounting and Business Case Competition
Ying Wa girls again shone at the final of the HKICPA Accounting and Business Case Competition 2020-21 held on May 22. There were a total of 569 teams with 1,860 students from 114 schools participating in the competition.

After a long journey, Ying Wa has eventually embarked on a new page of its history in mid-March 2019 with the “Big Move” from the decanting site of Sham Shui Po back to our home – the Robinson Road Campus.
Our new campus provides state-of-the-art technologies and an ideal spacious learning environment. We will certainly use them to the best advantage. Yet, what we treasure most is not the glamourous campus, but the all-round, Christian education that we provide – nurture the young minds our inherited core values and equip them to transform, to reach new heights and to meet the challenges of the contemporary society.
