Student Development Fund at Ying Wa
The Li Ka Shing Foundation ("LKSF") announced a donation of HKD 10 million today to establish the Mrs Li Chong Yuet Ming Student Development Fund at Ying Wa Girls' School.

Local Service Project 深緒情緣
Interactors from Ying Wa Girls’ School and Ying Wa College shared their experience in the summer local service project 深緒情緣 organized by the Interact Club on 14 November 2012 to the whole school. They shared their feelings towards poverty and showed their kind understanding of the situations of the outliers. Also, they suggested how to put kind thoughts into action by helping the needy.

Visitors from CHIJ
A twinning programme with CHIJ Secondary School (Toa Payoh) was organized from 5th to 9th November 2012. Five students accompanied by their teacher from the CHIJ joined our school picnic at Disneyland and had an adventure trip about Sham Shui Po on the first two days. They especially enjoyed visiting SCAD, having street snacks and playing dodgeball with our students. They also attended lessons with our Form Three students on the following days.
Sharing on True Leadership
Four S4-S6 students shared two leadership training programmes with the focus on how to develop oneself to be a true leader on 7th Nov 2012. Qualities like commitment, confidence, perseverance and a serving heart were emphasized. The sharing was fruitful motivated students to strive for their best.
ICAC Theatre
An interactive drama, ‘英熊互動真人show’, was performed by the Chung Ying Theatre Company in the school hall on 2nd November, 2012. This one-hour performance was a collaboration between Chung Ying Theatre and the ICAC to disseminate anti-corruption messages to students. The S4 students enjoyed the programme tremendously. At the same time, they learned more about the evils of corruption and the school hopes that this can help to foster their ethical values .
