Art Creation for MTR Stations (Central and Western District)

A group of senior form students participated in a meaningful art project organized by the MTR Corporation Limited.  Participants drew and took pictures of the Central and Western District and their artwork would be used as decoration for the new Sai Ying Pun, HKU and Kennedy Town MTR stations.  One participant, Chan Yee Tak, revealed in an interview that having new MTR stations would lead to a lot of changes in the neighbourhood.  On one hand, the MTR would bring convenience to people.  However at the same time, many old buildings would be demolished.  She hoped that her drawings could capture the district artistically.
