VTC STEM Challenge Cup

Three S3 students won the First Runner-up in the VTC STEM Challenge Cup.  The theme of the competition is “Smart Campus”.  Students had to propose and design an “E-steps” path at the school entrance to convert the kinetic energy from footsteps to electrical energy.  The electrical energy collected would be used to power up the lights and fans at the school entrance.  Not only does the design allow students to apply STEM knowledge, but it also helps students understand the importance of sustainability.
