Speech Day 2015
On 7 July 2015, the Speech Day was held. Mrs Lee delivered her final Principal's Report. Our keynote speaker was the esteemed Professor Deborah Chung Duen Ling (鍾端玲), first scientist of Chinese descent to win the Charles E Pettinos Award in 2004. An alumna, she flew home early from the United States for this occasion because she felt it was her duty to share with her alma mater the importance of leading a God-centric life. Also present were distinguished guests, proud parents, teachers and students. Wong Ching Huen (6B) gave the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the graduates. It was a night to remember for the scholarship holders and graduating classes who had worked hard for their results this year. Congratulations and all the best!

AGM and Farewell to Mrs. Lee
Aspen (Student Association) and Vereinen (Inter-house Committee) held their annual general meeting on June 30 and evaluated their work for the year. However, what gave this year’s event special significance was their joint presentation of farewell gifts for the principal, Mrs Lee. To express their heartfelt thanks for her gift to them of her individually autographed book, the student body presented her with a calligraphy which every student had signed forming the Chinese characters (身遠心莫離), a line from the school song. The second gift from the students was a box of letters from each of them plus an autographed uniform wishing her all the best on her retirement. It was a touching moment indeed.

Thanksgiving Service
The 115th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service on March 28 recalled the noble contributions of our founder, Miss Helen Davies, and the work of all principals who followed in her footsteps in the past 115 years. Throughout our history, our faith and our mission remain steadfast. This Thanksgiving Service acknowledged our debt to God, and to all who have helped us in carrying out His will. Our guest speaker, the Reverend Ng Chun Chi shared with us the wisdom he garnered from a life guided by Christian teachings. Joining us on this solemn occasion were illustrious members of the school council, alumnae, staff, parents and students. The angelic voices of our choir presented two hymns and representatives of the Christian Fellowship presented the readings from the bible.
