Inter-School Basketball Competition 2023-2024 (1st runner up)
Our A Grade Basketball Team secured the First Runner-up in the Inter-School Basketball Competition (Division 1). Our team fought relentlessly until the very last minute against our opponents from Hon Wah College. Though we may not have emerged as the overall champion, our pride in the team remains unwavering.
We must acknowledge the invaluable support received from our cheering team, as well as our alumnae, schoolmates, teachers and parents. We stand united and fervently anticipate their future achievements both on and off the court.

英華女籃 -「大公盃」三人籃球賽獲獎
11月26日,香港大公文匯傳媒集團舉辦了首屆「大公盃」三人籃球賽及頒獎典禮。這項賽事吸引了108支球隊參與,包括U11、U13、U15和U18的男子和女子組別。英華女校籃球隊在U18、U15和U13女子組別分別獲得2亞1冠。英華女籃和其他各隊都展現了優異的團隊合作精神和出色的球技。

Award in String Orchestra Interflow
The 2023 Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows, organized by the Music Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is currently taking place from Nov 14 to Dec 2. Over 200 orchestras and bands from local primary and secondary schools are participating in this remarkable event, providing students with a platform for musical exchanges and valuable performing experience. Awards of JS History e-Reading Award Scheme 2023
The Junior Secondary (JS) History e-Reading Award Scheme 2023, organized jointly by PSHE Section of CDI, EDB, and e-Learning Development Laboratory of HKU, took place from March to August 2023. Over 100 schools and 22,000 students participated in promoting history interest through self-directed learning. Among the 28 YW girls, 8 excelled and received Certificates of Merit and Creativity Awards. Award of Quiz on Korea 2023
Organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and supported by the Korean Studies Programme at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), the 'Quiz on Korea' competition for secondary school students was held on Nov 11, 2023 at HKU. A team of five S4 students, including Khoo Chanelle (4B), Kung Yat Tung Denise (4B), Lo Sze Wai (4A), Fu Tsz Kiu (4B), and Wong Tsun Sin (4C), enthusiastically participated in the event, demonstrating their knowledge of Korean culture by answering a variety of questions. HKJC Chairman’s Scholarship
It is with great joy and pride that we celebrate the remarkable achievement of Wong Sum Yi, (Graduate of 2023) for her winning the Hong Kong Jockey Club (JC) Chairman’s Scholarship (香港賽馬會主席卓越獎學金) on November 2, 2023. Being one of the selected 15, Wong Sum Yi was awarded this esteemed scholarship for her exceptional academic achievements, recognizing her dedication and commitment to pursue her undergraduate studies in Hong Kong. The evening drew to a close with a heartwarming reunion with alumnae who were also JC Scholars from previous years.

Award of Korea Forum 2023
Jointly organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Cultural Center, and the School of Modern Languages & Cultures of the University of Hong Kong (HKU), the Korea Forum for Hong Kong Young Leaders 2023 took place on October 21 at HKU. Wong Hoi Ying Sophia (3A), Cheung Suet Nam (3B), and Siu Hoi Yan (3C) participated in the Grand Final and presented their research findings on Korea's development. They were awarded the Best Research prize for their outstanding work.

2023 Harvard GlobalWE Essay Contest
Chan Hui Wing (6B) has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Harvard GlobalWE Essay Contest, while Lau Nga Kiu (6C) received an honourable mention.
The Harvard GlobalWE Essay Contest provides an opportunity for students to engage in topics relating to global women's rights and freedoms. Through this process, it encourages participants to learn and think critically about women and girls who face daily challenges that often define their communities but not their aspirations.
