「如何正面處理親子衝突?」家長講座
隨著女兒踏入青春期,親子衝突往往較以前增加,損害家庭的和諧。有見及此,家長教師會於2014年5月10日(六)舉辦「如何正面處理親子衝突?」家長講座。

Friendly Basketball Match
A teacher-student friendly Basketball match was held on 30 April 2014. Excitement and laughter filled the Open Playground.
Study Tour to Hunan
The Civic Education Committee led 20 S4-5 students to participate in a 5D4N tour (from 21/4/2014 – 25/4/2014) in Hunan Province, China. The tour was organized by the EDB with the aims to explore the knowledge on the preservation of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the city planning as well as the economic development of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan (ChangZhuTan Golden Triangle).

Organic Farming
On 16 April 2014, the Staff Development Committee held an activity in Sha Tou Kok. The teaching staff went on an excursion of heritage exploration and organic farming.
Winner in Essay Contest
Janet Yan Tsz Ching of 5A has been chosen as one of the top three winners of the WMI Philomathia Students Essay Contest. As one of the winners, she will be entitled to a one-week-expenses paid trip to England with an opportunity to visit London and experience college life at Cambridge and explore further studies opportunities.

Famine Lunch
In the afternoon on 15 April 2014, the annual "Famine Lunch" was organised to raise funds for the Hong Kong Christian Council's "Five Loaves and Two Fish"
Easter Service
The Easter Service was held on 15 April 2014. The Junior Choir took part in the service by singing an Easter song "Christ the Lord has Risen Again". Rev. William Leung, General Secretary of the Alliance Global Serve Limited came and shared with us on the importance of sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
Lee Hysan Foundation Scholarship
Keen S1 students and parents learned about the prestigious Lee Hysan Foundation Scholarship from current recipients and their family on 14 April 2014. As an LHF partner school, Ying Wa can nominate an outstanding S1student for the scholarship. She might be chosen to continue her secondary school education at Rugby School (UK) or Geelong Grammar School (Australia), for a total of 5 years with all the expenses covered. A truly invaluable and life-changing chance.
