全校聚會及午會
由學生會及公民教育組成立之政改關注小組於10月6日主辦一個全校聚會及午會,讓同學及老師有機會一同反思、沉澱、分享,深入探討有關政改議題,以培育學生多角度思考及公民素養,並鼓勵同學從中學習追求真、善、美等高雅的情操。在過程中,我們期望同學懂努力打好學問基礎,開拓眼界與胸襟,遇事能冷靜思考分析,和而不同,尊重不同意見,尋求共識。
Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival
Ann Cheung, our head girl has also done the school proud. She was first runner-up in the Putonghua section of the annual Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. An exemplary model of EDB’s effort to cultivate tri-lingual and bi-literate students, she was also on the English Debate Team that emerged champion in the Hong Kong Secondary Schools Debating Competition (First Term Finals).

Sino Junior Reporter Programme 2014
Tina Ko, our deputy head girl emerged as the winner in the Sino Junior Reporter Programme 2014. The programme was organised by the Sino Group in partnership with South China Morning Post’s Young Post, aiming to promote good writing skills and environmental awareness among students.

National Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The Civic Education Committee arranged a National Flag Hoisting Ceremony on 24 September 2014 to help cultivate students' national identity.
S6 Careers Conference
The S6 Careers Conference introduced to the graduating class JUPAS application procedures, tips on choosing university courses and non-JUPAS pathways. Graduate Juan Hillary Ching (HKUST Global Business Year 2) also shared her university experience. S6 students will have some soul searching to do to help them finalize their JUPAS choices.
Recruitment of Club Members
Students gathered in the Hall on 19 September 2014 to join clubs and societies of their own interest.
Cambridge Admission Talk
Dr Andrew Murray, Admissions Tutor for Sciences, Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, gave an informative talk on studying at the university and the prestigious Prince Philip Scholarship. Rarely do we have the chance to listen to a scholar from a world-class university, and Dr Murray assured us admission to Cambridge is not an impossible dream. 5*5*5 for three DSE electives and passion for studies are basic.
Alumnae Ambassador Scheme
2015 is another watershed year, ushering in our celebration of the 115th anniversary, and our renewed efforts to reach the fundraising goal in line with the phases of construction of the new campus. To relaunch the Alumnae Ambassador Scheme, a Tea Reception in honour of the Ambassadors was held to brief the alumnae ambassadors the most up to date briefing on the progress of school redevelopment, fundraising, and 115th anniversary celebration.
