Organic Farming
On 16 April 2014, the Staff Development Committee held an activity in Sha Tou Kok. The teaching staff went on an excursion of heritage exploration and organic farming.
Winner in Essay Contest
Janet Yan Tsz Ching of 5A has been chosen as one of the top three winners of the WMI Philomathia Students Essay Contest. As one of the winners, she will be entitled to a one-week-expenses paid trip to England with an opportunity to visit London and experience college life at Cambridge and explore further studies opportunities.
Famine Lunch
In the afternoon on 15 April 2014, the annual "Famine Lunch" was organised to raise funds for the Hong Kong Christian Council's "Five Loaves and Two Fish"
Easter Service
The Easter Service was held on 15 April 2014. The Junior Choir took part in the service by singing an Easter song "Christ the Lord has Risen Again". Rev. William Leung, General Secretary of the Alliance Global Serve Limited came and shared with us on the importance of sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
Lee Hysan Foundation Scholarship
Keen S1 students and parents learned about the prestigious Lee Hysan Foundation Scholarship from current recipients and their family on 14 April 2014. As an LHF partner school, Ying Wa can nominate an outstanding S1student for the scholarship. She might be chosen to continue her secondary school education at Rugby School (UK) or Geelong Grammar School (Australia), for a total of 5 years with all the expenses covered. A truly invaluable and life-changing chance.
Volleyball Champion
Our Volleyball Team emerged as the Champion in the Division I Inter-school Volleyball Girls C Grade Competition. Our team defeated Heep Yunn School in the final game on 13 April 2014. Both teams displayed discipline and quality. It was a fantastic game cheered by supportive fans and parents.
中國文化常識問答比賽
第四屆初中「中國文化常識問答比賽」總決賽於2014年4月9日早會時段於禮堂舉行。經過五場的初賽，兩場的準決賽，進入總決賽的三班分別是三甲、三丁及三戊班。經過一番龍爭虎鬥後，三丁班終脫穎而出，獲得冠軍。現場觀眾也十分投入，不時為台上參賽者打氣，氣氛熱烈。
Bottle-shoes Movement
On 9 April 2014, a soci-game Bottle-shoes Movement was organized by the Student Association to enable students to experience walking on a DIY plastic shoes made from bottles on the belief that poverty can never limit one's aspiration.
