Cambridge Experience
39 students went to UK to join the Cambridge Summer Programmes from 28 July until 10 August 2013. They had an eye opening experience supervised by Cambridge and Oxford Mentors. Immersed in a rich academic atmosphere, students were engaged in highly interactive English and Science lessons. After lessons, students had the chance to have guided tours to the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Houses of Parliament, They also watched a London West End Musical “Wicked” and had the chance to try punting on River Cam.

儂情牽遠
本校國際少年服務團與英華書院合共42名師生於2013年7月18日到英德市開展內地農村服務交流體驗活動。活動由香港基督教女青年會西環綜合社會服務處及兩校老師帶領,為期四天三夜,香港學生與當地貧困學生交流分享、與小朋友同吃同住同遊戲、跟隨村民到農田體驗割桑葉、拔花生和割禾等農務勞作。


Physics Olympiad 2013
Wong Siu Ying (4D) was awarded Second Honour in the Hong Kong Physics Olympiad 2013 organized by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education.

Blind student who reads braille with her lips
Another student, TSANG Tsz Kwan (曾芷君), has attained 5** in Chinese, English and liberal studies, 5* in English and Chinese literature and a four in maths. Tsz Kwan has been blind from infancy and hearing-impaired since Primary One. Making her task even more difficult is a lack of sensitivity in her fingers, which means she reads braille with her lips.

Outstanding HKDSE Results
WONG Nga Yee (黃雅頤), our S6 student, has attained an outstanding HKDSE result. She got 5** in all of her 7 subjects, including: Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics (Compulsory Part), Liberal Studies, Chemistry, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). She also got the level 5* in her Mathematics Extended Part.

Speech Day 2013
The annual Speech Day took place on 9th July 2013. It was a happy, exciting and proud day for all the S6 graduates. Dr. Tong Chong-sze, Secretary General of the HK Examinations and Assessment Authority, was the guest of honour of the evening while Rev. Phyllis Wong, wife of Dr. Tong, presented certificates to graduates and scholarship holders.
