Beyond 110 – Standard Chartered Marathon 2010
To celebrate the 110th Anniversary of Ying Wa, three teachers (Ms Chow Siu Fung, Mr Fung Wing Yin and Mr Ng Wing Wo) organised an activity called Beyond 110 (一生一次零的突破) to encourage more than 110 participants of the Ying Wa community including members of the School Council, teachers, non-teaching staff, students, parents and alumnae to take part in the Standard Chartered Marathon. On the day of the event, all Ying Wa runners of different generations gathered at the Victoria Park and sang the school song before heading to the starting line. It was indeed very memorable to celebrate the 110th Anniversary in such a creative way while enhancing our sense of belonging to our alma mater.
