S6 Poverty Simulation Workshop by ICE
The Citizenship and Social Development (CSD) Department invited Inter-Cultural Education (ICE) to conduct poverty simulation workshops for all S6 classes in November and December 2024. Throughout these sessions, students had the opportunity to reflect on pressing issues such as poverty, unfair trade practices, and social inequality within the context of economic globalization. They were able to connect and apply the knowledge acquired in the CSD curriculum to a “real-life” scenario in the simulation, supported by professional guidance, authentic props, and interactive activities. Students were highly engaged in the role-play, discussions, and sharing. The overall atmosphere was one of joy and enlightenment.
中西區防火宣傳標語創作比賽得獎
本校同學參加由中西區民政事務處及中西區防火委員會合辦之「中西區防火宣傳標語創作比賽」，表現獲得好評，一共獲得六個獎項。是次活動讓同學們發揮創意，以簡潔的標語宣揚防火安全的訊息。

Study Tour to Antarctica
Four S4 students embarked on an unforgettable adventure, organised by the Partners Education Foundation, to Antarctica from November 26 to December 8, 2024. After several rounds of screening interviews, Chan Wai Anissa (4B), Lau Sum In (4D), Siu Hoi Yan (4E), and Wong Hoi Ying Sophia (4E) were selected to join the trip.
Throughout their journey, they had the privilege of meeting distinguished scientists who shared valuable insights into the unique geographical and biological features of the continent.
Hong Kong Island Outstanding Student Awards 2024
Lo Sze Wai (5A) and Yau Cheuk Sum (3E) were awarded the Hong Kong Island Outstanding Student Awards 2024 in the senior and junior sections respectively. Presented by the Hong Kong Island School Heads Association, the awards aim to recognize secondary school student leaders who have demonstrated excellent leadership skills and have served the school and society enthusiastically.
Talk by Mr Simon Lorenz
The English Department was delighted to welcome Mr Simon Lorenz, a multi-award winning underwater photographer, dive instructor, and author, to speak to our S5 students.
In his sharing, Mr Lorenz showcased his stunning photography, taking our students on a visual journey that highlighted the beauty of sharks and the vital role they play in maintaining the delicate balance of marine ecosystems.
S6 Mock Interview Workshop 2024
A Mock Interview Workshop was held successfully on December 6 in collaboration with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (HKFWS). The interview workshops were conducted in different classrooms with the help of eleven social workers from HKFWS. In the workshop, S6 students prepared for university admissions. The realistic experience, which included self-introduction and group interactions, allowed students to learn more about the interview process and polish their interview skills. The guidance will help our students build the confidence and knowledge needed to excel in future university interviews.
Champion in Inter-School Basketball Competition 2024-2025 (A Grade) (Album 2)
Our A Grade Basketball Team triumphed as the Champion in the Inter-School Basketball Competition (Division 1). Our team fought tirelessly until the final minute against a formidable opponent from Heep Yunn School.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable support from our cheering squad, as well as from our alumnae, schoolmates, teachers, and parents. Together, we are united and eagerly look forward to their future successes.
