《一帶一路 · 與我何干》校際比賽獲奬
公民教育委員會與歷史科合作，提名學生參加《一帶一路‧與我何干》中學校際綜合能力比賽。活動由香港專業及資深行政人員協會、一帶一路國際發展聯盟及新界社團聯會合辦，目的是鼓勵中學生關心社會事務，了解「一帶一路」為不同地區帶來的機遇。是次活動有超過20間中學參與，參賽者於四月二十九日上午出席專題講座，下午以手機進行網上答題比賽。本校三位同學 (中五乙班陳嘉蔚、陳穎欣、劉德怡) 積極參與，表現出色，分別在通識範疇及何干範疇獲得答題傑出奬。

HKICPA Accounting Business Case Competition 2016-17
Ying Wa girls shone at the final of the HKICPA Accounting and Business Case Competition 2016-17 held on 29 April. Totally, there were 526 teams from 157 secondary schools joining the competition. Two teams out of the six finalists came from our school, and their oral presentations won them the Champion, Best Business Proposal, Best Presenter, Outstanding Performance Team Awards.

舞蹈世界盃晉級 舞蹈隊將前往德國參賽
舞蹈隊參加本年度舞蹈世界盃，在香港區外圍賽及亞洲區外圍賽表現出色，現代舞、中國舞及民族舞獨舞均以優異成績晉級，獲得參加決賽資格。舞蹈隊將於六月前往德國奧芬堡參賽，藉此跟其他隊伍切磋交流。

Overall Champion – Inter-school Basketball Competition
The Ying Wa Basketball Team once again emerged as the overall champion in the Inter-school Basketball Competition this year, after fighting off a fierce challenge to win the Final Game for C-Grade on 8 April 2017 (Sat). Congratulations!

English Drama Fest 2017
A touch of Shakespearean magic descended on our school hall at lunchtime on Wednesday when our drama troupe that recently won the Best Directing Award at the English Drama Fest 2017 put on an extra performance for their schoolmates to help raise funds for the School Redevelopment Project too.
Budding actresses in Secondary One had fun sprinkling fairy dust on unsuspecting lovers – Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius and Helena – in A Midsummer Night's Dream, as their seniors took on the roles of imperious Oberon and the confused couples. Their comic acting delighted the audience...

Church Music Group – Junior Choir (2nd Runner Up)
Under the baton of Miss Li Chun-yan Selina, our Junior Choir was awarded the second runner-up prize in the Church Music Group (Foreign Language) in the 69th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. The Church Music Group mainly consisted of Secondary One students who worked with great diligence and the will to refine their skills. They relished the opportunity and experience to showcase their potential in music tremendously.

Canadian Computing Competition (Hong Kong Contest) 2017
Poon Wing Sze (6C) won the Certificate of Merit in the Senior Category while Au Sui Yu (4D) and Wong Yuen Lam (5A) were awarded the Certificate of Distinction in the Junior Category in the Canadian Computing Competition (Hong Kong Contest) 2017.
But the biggest winner was their team mate, Chan Wai Chi (5C), whose prize was an all-expense-paid trip to Canada in May to attend the Canadian Computing Olympiad. She has the honour of being the first female contestant to represent Hong Kong at this prestigious tournament.

走出課室 全方位學習中國歷史
本校14位中二級同學參加「歷史文化學堂」廣播劇比賽，兩個參賽作品 ─「東漢奇遇記」及「大漠鐵騎」成功入選，並分別於3月21及28日在新城電台廣播。是次活動機會難得，學生通過搜集歷史資料，撰寫劇本，參加廣播劇培訓工作坊，進行電台錄音，接受訪問等，得到嶄新的學習經歷，生動地體驗學習中國歷史的樂趣。
