A visit to the Hong Kong Palace Museum (S3)

The History and Chinese History Departments arranged all the S3 students to visit the Hong Kong Palace Museum on September 23, aiming at enhancing students’ understanding of the livelihood and work of the imperial family and officials of the Qing Dynasty.  In addition to normally learning Chinese history from books and films, the visit enlightens students to learn outside the classroom.  Not only does the museum act as a traditional learning platform on history, but it also provides various thematic exhibitions to broaden students’ horizon on art and technology.  The museum is indeed a treasure trove of information, data, photographs, testimonials, artifacts, and interactive tools, illuminating the past, the present and the future.
